Lytle & Wilson, P.C.'s wide array of services
fall under three main categories:
|
|
TAX SERVICES
We provide the full spectrum of
tax-related services for businesses, individuals, trusts and estates. Compliance projects, such as the filing of all types
of income tax returns, payroll tax returns and estate tax returns required at the death of an individual are the most requested
services we render.
But our clients also rely on us to advise them on the tax ramifications of large and complicated
transactions. Our goal is to see that every client we serve receives the greatest possible economic benefits, while giving
appropriate attention to the tax considerations.
In the same "trouble-shooting" spirit, clients look to us for projections
of estimated tax liabilities under a variety of "what if" scenarios.
Certainly the most comforting of all our tax services
is our skill at representing clients in IRS examinations. We know how the IRS operates, and how to satisfy them with the
least amount of trouble for our clients.

ADVISORY SERVICES
We provide a variety of management
advisory services to our business clients; a common request is to assist in purchase investigations. We furnish analytical
information which assists clients greatly when considering an acquisition.
We also render general business planning
and management services, a function we call "controllership by the hour." We help clients in many business decisions including
budgeting, cost analysis and lease versus buy questions.
"Forensic" accounting is a newly emerging service that involves
searching for fraud or misapplication of business funds. This process entails working closely with attorneys in litigation
situations. In the last twenty years we have distinguisehd ourselves as an accounting firm that can make valuable contributions
in this highly technical area.
However, our advisory services are not limited to business. Lytle & Wilson, P.C. helps
many individuals plan for retirement and the disposition of assets at death. We also oversee the administration of estates
and the proper funding of trusts. Because we have no investment "products" to sell, we can provide more meaningful, unbiased
service in these important areas.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING SERVICES
Many of our clients
are required by third parties, such as banks, to have their financial statements audited, reviewed or compiled by an outside
accounting firm. Other clients desire these services for their own management purposes. We handle such projects with precision
whether they are complex or simple, as evinced by reviews of this area of our business by the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants.
For clients who do not need a staff bookkeeper or an accountant, we process their accounting transactions
and provide monthly or quarterly compiled financial statements, allowing them to more accurately monitor their business operations.
We
perform this service in a timely manner while saving clients a considerable amount of money in full time employee costs.
Furthermore, by performing this function, we become familiar with a client's business and thus are better able to pinpoint
potential trouble spots.
